Nail Application and Removal

Everything you need to put your press-ons on, and take them off safely so you can wear them again.

How to apply your press-on nails

Grab the application kit that came with your nails and follow these steps.

  1. Use a file to lightly remove the shine from your natural nail. Round off any nail growth.

  2. Use the cuticle pusher to push back your cuticles and free up all possible space on your nail bed.

  3. Use your buffer to lightly buff over your natural nail.

  4. Clean off any dust with the alcohol wipe from your kit, then use the nail polish remover (acetone) wipe to dehydrate your nails.

  5. Make sure each press-on fits your nail bed before applying glue. You can file down the sides for a better fit.

  6. Apply a small drop of glue (or an adhesive tab) to your natural nail and the back of the press-on.

  7. Press the nail on at an angle from the cuticle down, and hold firm pressure for 30 seconds.

  8. Avoid water and hot showers for one to two hours so the glue fully sets.

How to remove them safely to wear again

  1. Use a cuticle stick to loosen the edges of the nail.

  2. Coat the edges with a nail remover product, cuticle oil, or cooking oil.

  3. Use a cuticle stick to gently loosen the nail.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the nail comes off.

If it hurts while removing, it isn't ready. Add more remover and work the area gently.
